Barony of
Carillion
Post Pennsic wrap-up and highlights
Lord Ronan Lynceus

So Pennsic 31 has come and gone, and now that we have all pretty safely recovered, what really happened? The East Won the war, but this was a busy Pennsic for many. Most notably we officially now have a new Baron and Baroness. Their excellencies Ramos and Aminah were officially invested Monday evening of war week. Our treasured vicar, Dona Mercedes de Califia was made a Court Baroness for her service to the Barony and Kingdom as vicar. Lord Eisdrache received a sable bell from Dona Mercedes for his service to the Barony at Knight Marshal, Seneschal of Forestgate, feast-o-crat, and general all around helpful guy. Alasdair and Belanna, were also made court baron and baroness for their fine service to the barony of Carillion.

Let us also not forget that Lady Mika is now Mistress Mika, having received her Laurel for Illumination during EK Court Wednesday Evening.

The pirate ship Cloven Nemesis declared Piracy on the Barony, taking the Baron elect hostage, agreeing to return him for a ransom of 6 quarts of chocolate milk, but agreeing to return him on good faith for a down payment of 1 quart. The pirate ship RavenSpittle pilfered a treasure chest of gold coins given to their excelencies during investiture, only to be ratted out by the Cloven Nemesis, at which point the baron led the charge against the RavenSpittle with his archers ready to fire. The will of the mighty captain Ricardo quickly broke and the treasure was returned.

I know I am missing plenty so send me the things I have missed, and I will most happily add them to the accounts of the event.

For their excellencies (all 5 of them), Mistress Mika, Lord Eisdrache, Vivat! Vivat! Vivat!
